Wicked Effects Car Club

Being a long time enthusiast of the Pontiac Fiero and since my first Fiero SE in 1985, I can’t contain my love of the Fiero car. So,…now 75 years old, I decided I needed a hobby and I elected to refurbish a Fiero. After searching for many months for a salvageable Fiero and getting weary of looking, I settled on a purchase listed on EBay web site. Oh yes, I suffered the common problems of purchasing a car via pictures and description alone. Although I was happy purchasing from EBay a “very good car that had all the bells and whistles working”, I was very disappointed with the mechanics and the 35 dollar paint job on the car. Several months and many dollars now and I finally have a car that is mechanically sound. You name it and I needed to fix it, starting with a front cracked exhaust manifold.

Hello all, my name is Doug Eaton and I'm the President of the Wicked Effects Car Club!  I own two vehicles, a 1990 Chevrolet S10 Blazer and a 2007 Chevrolet SS/SC Cobalt.  The Blazer is my first car (truck) with me being the original owner.  I could write pages on the number of modifications performed on the Blazer since it rolled off the showroom floor however to keep it simple lets get to the good stuff: its solid front axle conversion from IFS and its 350 TBI V8.  I live in Pottstown, PA and blessed with a wonderful family: my wife Robin, two boys Jared and Cole, two dogs: Chevy and Willie, and one cat: Beans.  In my spare time (lol) I coach baseball and soccer and ski.  My career background is Mechanical Engineering which I truly enjoy, graduating from Lafayette College in 1996.  I don't design cars for a living but work with the design and manufacturing of something much bigger - passenger trains!  Glad to be a part of WECC and for what it stands for!  Feel free to E-mail me at Doug@wickedeffectscarclub.com with any questions or if you would like to join!  I make it out to many indoor and outdoor car shows so you'll most likely see me around the show circuit. 

  I own this 1977 Chevrolet Malibu Classic. I had a couple of old classic muscle cars in the past. Now I'm just starting to get back in to it again! Looking forward to seeing all of the classics at the shows.
